I Thought It was a Bad Dream Until I woke Up

I went to bed the other night and I Thought It was a Bad Dream Until I woke Up.

It had been a long work week and it was coming up on the weekend.

I figured I would sleep in on Saturday morning to catch up on my rest.

I had tossed and turned all night long, so I didn’t get much sleep. Because I kept having a reoccurring bad dream.

The dream was about me and someone I didn’t know or didn’t recognize. Actually, they didn’t even have a face.

In the dream, I kept having a crash over and over while driving to work. And the crash kept happening in a school zone.

For some unknown reason, I crashed into a crossing guard and a group of kids.

I had recently moved to a new part of the country to a new city and started a new job. A new leaf in my life had begun.

I happened to cause an accident that I killed someone and then ran.

And now with this dream reoccurring, I Thought It was a Bad Dream Until I woke Up. To the kitchen, I went to get the coffee on.

To my horror, I saw my car was covered in blood. I ran out to the car and it was blood all over it. As I looked around to see if anyone was watching me I jumped into my car and started it up.

I hid the car behind my garage until I could figure this out. Back inside my house, I turned on the Tv to watch the local news.

A hit and run happened last night that had killed five children and one adult crossing guard.

What!?! I Thought It was a Bad Dream Until I woke Up. Was I going to have to move again? Should I turn myself in and face the consequences? A million thoughts were running through my brain.
