What is Antifa and the Alt-Right?

I first want to say, I have tried to stay away from politics on this blog but I feel I need to speak out now…

Unless you were just born and are able to read this post or you live under a rock and get no news whatsoever, then you have heard about the clashes and protests and what happened in Charlottesville, VA.  recently.

It sickens me to watch anything news related mainly because the mainstream media (MSM) is lying and has always been lying to us about everything. They have fallen away from reporting facts because facts don’t involve being politically correct and that is what is ruining this free nation. The MSM news only reports what will bring in the most ratings, even if it means making up truths to “sell” a story to the readers.

So of course in the past week or so when the two groups “Antifa” and the           “Alt-Right” clashed in Charlottesville, VA. the MSM went crazy with all the stories. Antifa is a far-left militant political movement of autonomous, self-described anti-fascist groups in the United States. The Alt-right, or Alternative Right, is a loosely defined group of people with far-right ideologies who reject mainstream conservatism in favor of white nationalism, principally in the United States.

Antifa and the Alt-Right
Violence and Black Lives Matter

For this post, we are going to focus only on two groups Both of these two groups are made up of racist people. Antifa has links to Black Lives Matter which think ONLY “black lives matter” and they can’t see that being racist.

On the other side, the Alt-Right group has ties to the KKK, white supremacy groups, Nazi groups and so on and they can’t see themselves as being racist either.

What is racism? Webster Dictionary says the definition of racism is – prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior. Yet neither group thinks they are being racist. This is something I find hard to comprehend – it is in black and white (no pun intended).

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting – I have tried to steer clear of posting any political things on this blog – but after what recently happened I felt like I needed to post/vent.

  1. I have a different opinion on just one thing in your post. You stated BLM is of the opinion that ONLY black lives matter. I believe that is inaccurate. The BLM ideology is that white lives are more revered as black lives. They posit that police are more liable to use deadly force when dealing with blacks than when dealing with whites. They are attempting to make people aware of the attitudes and change them. They do not state that white lives don’t matter, they state white lives matter more and that is unacceptable.
AntiFa is just as reprehensible as the alt-right groups. They don’t seem to understand that in their destruction of private property, their attempt to start fights is just as fascist as the groups they abhor. They have a “good cause” but bad and criminal behaviors. and should be considered just as much a hate group as all the alt-right groups.

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting – I will have to just agree to disagree with your comment about my opinion that they ONLY think BLM – if they (BLM) didn’t think that only BLM then why call it BLM? Why not All Lives Matter (ALM)? AND I also implore you to watch the embedded video I added to my post AFTER your comment was made that backs up my opinion of BLM. Thanks.

  2. Great post! If they wear masks at a demonstration they should be in jail. If they bring violence, they should be locked up for a while. Racism will never be defeated but we don’t have to let it control – like removing historical status statues. If those protesters invested half their time in extending grace for ones rights there wouldn’t be an issue. The motivation goes deeper I think. Our tolerance for racial hate should be zero

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting. I wholeheartedly agree with you. The hiding behind the mask is for a reason and that reason is not a good one. It generally means you’re up to no good.

  3. Both groups are bad. I appreciate everyone who speaks out about violence.

I hope you’ll allow me to clarify, Black Lives Matter isn’t a hate group, they are not affiliated with ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter doesn’t say other lives don’t matter. They are a peaceful advocacy group like Martin Luther King Jr’ s movement for equal justice.

Sadly fake news, Alt-Right and ANTIFA has misrepresented their cause to create more divisiveness in this country ?
